One 0–100 number, computed — never typed in by hand.
Node Score compresses a Passport into a single trust/quality number: verification depth, confirmed performance, stability over time, transferability and seller track record. It is deterministic and recomputed automatically as evidence changes — no seller or admin can edit it directly.

Score composition
Weights sum to 100% and are the same for every Node type — only the underlying evidence differs.
Verification
Depth of verification completed. Caps how high an unverified Node can score.
The verification level a listing has reached is a hard ceiling on the whole Node Score — an unverified listing can never outscore a Verified one, no matter how strong its other factors are. See the Verification ladder for the exact ceiling at each level.
Tiers
Node Score is computed server-side and recomputed automatically as evidence changes — no seller or admin can edit it directly.
Five factors, one number
Node Score isn't a single metric dressed up — it's five sub-scores, each computed from a different part of the Passport, weighted and combined into one 0-100 figure. Verification carries the most weight (30%) deliberately: it's the factor that gates the other four, since unconfirmed metrics are just claims.
The ceiling, not just the weight
Verification isn't only 30% of the formula — it also sets a hard ceiling on the total. A Self-reported listing cannot cross 70 no matter how strong its metrics look, because unverified performance numbers aren't confirmed. Click through the Verification ladder above to see the exact ceiling at each level.
Computed, never typed in
No seller, admin or support agent can set a Node Score by hand. It's recalculated automatically whenever the underlying evidence changes — a new verification check passing, a metrics reconciliation, a change in seller standing — which is what makes it usable as a comparison signal across the whole catalogue in Rankings.
